Duke Nukem Got Nuked
Duke Nukem Forever just became Duke Nukem… NEVER! 3D Realms, developer of Duke Nukem has just closed their doors for good (i.e. They’re out of business). Unless 3D’s remnants can manage to sell the rights to Duke to another developer (assuming they can find one who’s interested), the game will never see the light of day.
In development for over 13 years, the game has been the butt of countless jokes. It has become the poster child for ‘Vaporware’ – and this has cemented it’s status in that realm.
It’s an unfortunate end for a character many of us have very fond memories of. No more will we be able to “Hail to the King, baby!”
Game on!
But then again Bungie would never do this for Halo
